The largest youth organization in the country will name additional AAU All-American boy and girl basketball teams in August 2011. Talent will be evaluated at the AAU All-American Basketball Skills Academy. Camps will include a boys' and girls' Junior Division (3rd - 8th grade) and a Senior Division (9 - 11th grade) as well as academic performance sessions, life tools training, combine testing and measurements, fundamental basketball training, conditioning regiments, organized games and contests. Camps will take place in Charlotte, NC, Hampton, VA, Memphis, TN and Orlando, FL.
iHoops announced recently that they are a partner with the AAU All-American Basketball Skills Academy. AAU All American is currently offering a reduced promotional rate sponsored by iHoops. Each Academy attendee who pays their registration fee before June 9th, 2011 will receive the iHoops promotional rate of $175.00 per session. They will also provide scholarships for student-athletes based on need and performance. "iHoops was a natural partner for us since they have a rich tradition of supporting grassroots basketball as well as developing fundamental skills in youth and coaches," said Travis King, Director of the AAU All-American Basketball Skills Academy.
